Rachel Greenwald

Associate Attorney

Rachel Greenwald is an Associate Attorney at Utrecht, Kleinfeld, Fiori, Clark, Partners. She practices in the areas of federal and state campaign finance and election law, congressional ethics, tax-exempt organizations, lobbying disclosure compliance, and contract negotiations. She works on a variety of client matters and provides representation to candidates, unions, nonprofits, and other organizations. 

Ms. Greenwald obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2022 (Cum Laude), where she worked in the Consumer Protection Clinic with the Maryland Attorney General’s Office.  She also worked as a law clerk with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender (“MOPD”), where she was chosen for the MOPD rural fellowship program.

Ms. Greenwald obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland College Park in Journalism and Government and Politics. Ms. Greenwald is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland.

Campaign Law
The Firm works with candidate committees and has extensive experience in advising campaigns with regard to federal campaign finance law, including public financing and the audit process. The Firm provides comprehensive legal services to campaigns on
all legal matters.

The Firm works with nonprofits at all stages, from the establishment of the entity, to advice regarding the complexities of tax law and campaign finance law.
Ethics
We provide guidance on applicable ethics requirements, completing and filing financial disclosure forms, establishment of blind trusts, as well as compliance with gift, travel, and conflicts of interest rules.
