Adam Clark

Associate Attorney

Adam Clark is an Associate Attorney at Utrecht, Kleinfeld, Fiori, Partners. He practices in the areas of federal and state election law, ethics, nonprofit organizations, contracts, and advises on compliance with campaign finance and lobbying disclosure laws. His practice includes representation of individuals, candidates, campaign committees, unions, corporations, and trade associations. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Clark most recently worked as a Policy Associate at Collier Collective, LLC, a consulting, coalition-building, and policy advocacy firm serving public interest clients in Washington, DC. In that role, Mr. Clark worked with clients and partners to improve public policy outcomes in the areas of criminal justice, health, and appropriations.

Before moving to Washington in 2015, Mr. Clark gained significant experience in local politics in Cincinnati, Ohio advising several Cincinnati City Council campaigns and working in city council offices. He also worked with many community-based and grassroots organizations in Cincinnati to advance the respective missions of the organizations and to improve the lives of underrepresented and marginalized individuals.

Mr. Clark holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree from Xavier University in the Philosophy, Politics, and the Public Honors Program, as well as Bachelor of Arts Degrees in History and Political Science. He also holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College Of Law. Mr. Clark is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio. 

Campaign Law
The Firm works with candidate committees and has extensive experience in advising campaigns with regard to federal campaign finance law, including public financing and the audit process. The Firm provides comprehensive legal services to campaigns on
all legal matters.

The Firm works with nonprofits at all stages, from the establishment of the entity, to advice regarding the complexities of tax law and campaign finance law.
Ethics
We provide guidance on applicable ethics requirements, completing and filing financial disclosure forms, establishment of blind trusts, as well as compliance with gift, travel, and conflicts of interest rules.
