Patti Solis Doyle is a non-lawyer partner at Utrecht & Phillips, specializing in governmental and public relations. Ms. Solis Doyle provides strategic consulting for the firm’s corporate and not-for-profit clients. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Northwestern University.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Solis Doyle garnered unique insight into the most important political campaigns of the past thirty years. Most recently, Ms. Solis Doyle acted as Chief of Staff for Vice Presidential Operations at Obama for America where she built a national team of policy, communications, political and field operatives in advance of the nominee’s selection. She later managed day to day operations for then Senator Joe Biden.
From January 2007 through February 2008, Ms. Solis Doyle was the Campaign Manager of Hillary Clinton for President and thus became the first Hispanic woman to lead a presidential effort in the United States. Ms. Solis Doyle began her presidential campaign experience as one the first staffers on Governor Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign and was the first hired for then First Lady Hillary Clinton. From 1993 to 2001, Ms. Solis Doyle served in the White House as Director of Scheduling and Advance for the First Lady, promoting administration policies on children, health care, and women’s issues.
Beginning in 2000, Ms. Solis Doyle took leave from her White House duties and served as Chief of Staff for now Secretary Hillary Clinton’s 2000 Senate campaign. Following Clinton’s successful election, Ms. Solis Doyle founded and led HillPAC, now Secretary Clinton’s leadership PAC and Friends of Hillary, Clinton’s re-election campaign to the Senate. Under Ms. Solis Doyle’s leadership, HillPAC became one of the largest and most successful sources of fundraising for Democrats.
Ms. Solis Doyle currently resides in Washington, DC with her husband and two children.
